This is a lesson that I'm going to leave up to all of you to find answers. Where does witchcraft come from? Where does our modern form called Wicca come from? It is important to understand where we came from and the things that our religion has gone through along the way. Some of our history is wonderful and magickal......other parts of our history is filled with pain and misunderstanding. I am not going to just tell you how we all got here because you shouldn't rely on just my opinion to base what you believe. You have to look to many sources to find the truth about the past. Give it a great deal of thought and research. Take your time with this assignment.......the sources for information are vast. There are many books out there and tons of websites that will give you some answers. I am going to get you started with 2 sites that I found to be pretty good and then I do suggest that you go on your own searches as well to find out all that you can. Your assignment is to find the answer to "What is the past of our religious path?" To turn in your assignment, write about some of the interesting things that you have found in your search and your feelings about the things you have found.
