My Magickal Name

Since I am your teacher, I thought that I should also answer this one.

My magickal name is Arianna. My real name is Cynthia. I chose Arianna through careful thought and research. I used numerology to align a magickal name with my birthdate and I used the names meanings. Arianna means Divine in Greek. My real name means Moon Goddess in Greek and my birthsign is Cancer for which the planetary ruler is the Moon. That's where ariannasmoon comes from that I use online. Arianna+Moon. I have my magickal name on the front of my Book of Shadows and sign any writing, ritual, or spell with it in runes. We'll get into runes and the Book of Shadows soon. There are many things to learn in Wicca and I think that if we take it a step at a time, everyone should do well.

Ivy's Magickal name

I would scare you all if you new how many internet names I have!

First off my real name is Anna-Maria but I have gone by Maria all my life. I have all sorts of names for different clubs without giving them much though. My internet "real" name has always been Ivy.

When I first found Wicca I adopted the name aquamarie (for my birthstone the aquamarine and my real name Maria). I really didn't care for that name and since I go for walks just about everynight to the beach... I came up with Moons Whisper because that is what I felt I was hearing each night along my walk. Still, this name does not personify who I truly am. So... on the last Full moon in February I spent a long while down at the beach looking up at the Moon and asking to be given a name. The first thing that popped into my head was Wind Song Warrior. This is the name that I feel best suits me.

--Wind for its many qualities of being warm and pleasing as it gently kisses your skin to harsh and overpowering with its seemingly wickedness when it whips in with a thundering storm

--Song because the wind IS a song to me and I can't imagine life with out all the sounds from nature and from my CD player...lol!!

So there you have it!! Wind Song Warrior But I won't be using this name much. I belong to one club with this name right now... but I basically plan on saving it for when I call upon the Goddess and God in rituals and stuff!! << need to learn what the "stuff" is yet ;-)

BRIGHT BLESSINGS, MY REAL NAME IS MARGARET AND MY MAGIKAL NAME IS BRIGHID. I CHOSE THAT NAME BECAUSE IT JUST FELT LIKE IT FIT.THE NAME MEANS HIGH GODDESS. IN IRISH MYTHOLOGY SHE WAS THE GODDESS OF POETRY AND WISDOM. THE DAUGHTER OF THE FIRE GOD.IM ITALIAN AND LITHUAIAN BY BIRTH BUT I AM DRAWN TO THE IRISH/CELTIC CULTURE. My Magical Name

Well, for the past year since I began exploring Wicca, I think of myself as "Little Raven." I know this is not the most original magical name in the world, but it popped into my head one day along with a feeling of warmth and security and humbleness that gave me confidence as I began my journey.

I know this will not be my magical name forever. As I grow and change, so will my name. For now though "Little Raven" it is.

My Magickal Name

My real name is Jacinta Valerie. However, I have about eleven nicknames (scary, I know), because a lot of people have trouble with six syllables (I'm not being mean...that's just the way it is in Australia). Some of these nicknames are: Jak, JJ, JV, Cindy, Jackie, Little Miss Muffett, Jessie, and Jasmine, which was the secret name my 'blood sister' gave me when we 'bonded'.

I chose Jasmina because I have always loved the name, and because it was so close to my secret name. I don't know what it means exactly, but I don't really want to. At the moment, it is just my name.

The rest of my magickal name is Moonash. I chose this as I was staring at the waning moon, and thinking that maybe thoughts were like ash on the moon...no-one would know it was there if they didn't ask.

My real name is Dianne, but I have chosen the magickal name of Piwackett. This may sound very strange as to why I chose this but here goes. I saw a movie years ago call "Bell, Book and Candle" A comedy where the witches were real people, not hags or evil doers. One certain witch had a black cat named Piwackett. The name has always stayed with me and now I know the reason why.

I am a fan of dragonlance books and one of the characters names just sort of stuck out and grabbed me. My magical name will be Silvanoshei. I have no idea if it means anything but it feels right.

When I started this assignment I thought I needed a magickal name. I was looking for something special without knowing the beauty of my own name: NOLA It means "noble" in Celtic. My grandmother, my mother and I share it.. for three generations it has been in my family. Two great powerful women before me gave me my magickal name.. That is why I've decided not to use another but the one that I'm so fortunate to have.

Well I haven't really picked a magical name but since I started studying Wicca I came across the name Vesta. I read that the name meant Goddess of Fire to romans. Well I liked it not only because of the name but because when I was younger I loved playing with fire and wasn't scared of it. So if I was to choose a name it would be Vesta.

My real name is Lianne, shortened to Lia for the net. I have thought long to find a name that would feel like me.. and have chosen the name Rhiannon. She was a Welsh celtic Goddess of birds and horses. I have been drawn to and loved horses since I can remember! I found it felt right as soon as I read about her. It fits for me also because my family has alot of celtic blood on both sides.When I read about her, it brought back a fantasy I used to lose myself in when I was little, of riding a horse on a summer night in the moonlight. Maybe someday, I'll actually bring that one to pass!!

Choosing a Magickal Name

I have chosen a magickal name for myself. I decided on the beautiful name Andromeda. I chose this name because it is the name of a constellation and I love the night sky. It was also the name of a princess in Greek Mythology and also the name of the nearest galaxy beyond our own. To me, this name brings to mind beauty in all that surrounds me. And also a woman with far away wisdom and grace. A part of the celestial, heavenly body.

I gave much thought to my magickal name. I toyed with many different names and meanings but I have finally decided that my own name, Iain, is the best choice. It has strong Gaelic connections which I feel drawn towards. I love the sound of my name aswell, it means 'the gods are gracious'.

I have chosen zaric as he was a strong man that helped Enaya of the duradain whilst trying to perfect the spells. When the Groticans joined he became the king for the rest of his life. In Berson he was a great man and I feel I must use his name.

I have chosen as my Moriganne as my Magickal name. It is a form of Morgan which means circling sea or great brightness. I have also made sure that it aligns with my date of birth by changing the spelling slightly. I couldn't find the name Moriganne (or Morigan) on any name websites but I heard it about a year ago and simply loved it.

I was just browsing through names that i liked when i thought of the name Gwen. I always thought it was a pretty name. It was down between that and Majandra. I couldn't find Majandra on the list of names dictionary. So i went to the numerology sites to find out which name i should pick. While the page was loading, No Doubt's new video came on TV, and the lead singers name is gwen. So i checked the numbers for that name first. It is 22, same as my full real name, whitney jo ann brouse. I think that was as far as i needed to go, seeing as how 22 is one of the "higher" numbers. So my new Magickal name is Gwen

I thought about this for a long time,and I came to the decision that I would feel most comfortable using my own birth name.My family is of Shawnee Indian heritage and all my relatives have Indian names,including myself.My full name is Raven Yuet (which means Raven Moon)and I have always thought this was a very mystic and magickal name.

I picked my name for a couple of reasons. First I picked Candra this means Moon. I have been reading Tarot cards for 30 years and when I read for myself the Moon is always there. In my readings I have learned that this is the Goddess of the Moon looking out for my well fare. In acceptence of this I choose to show respect by having my first name be Candra. Next I picked a second name Aila it is finish for Light Bearer. I am a Light Worker and use Light a lot in my vision Magick work. These two names give me a kind of charges as I say them before I began and it also keeps me on track. Helps me remember its Magick time.
